Do I hear applause??? Thank you thank you for the warm welcome and as always thank you for reading this email. I'll try not to strain your eyes to much with this email. 

Tuesday: lots of phone calls. Taught a couple lessons

Wednesday: did some service for the wonderful city of Paso Robles. Also went to 2 urgent cares (I'm okay, it was for my comp, and he's okay too) 

Thursday: had a mission Zoom and a lesson with our friend Ruben. Got some Cold Stone after some companionship council (sorry to flex on all my friends outside the US)

Friday: Interviews with our mission president. Ended up going to 2 more urgent cares. Also apparently medical care is crazy here in Cali because they are always PACKED. We met this interesting homeless guy named Jesse. He was kinda interesting and definitely didn't agree with a lot we were saying but we said a prayer with him and he thanked us for it. Went door knocking and found this nice guy named Brad. He sounded a lot like Bradley Wilcox. We also had a phone call lesson with our friend Glenn. And yes A LOT happened this day!

Saturday: did some service for one of our elderly members. Had a couple lessons. And my comp made a really really good dinner. 

Sunday: went by some friends to get them to church but no one wanted to come :( Contacted a lot of old records. And had dinner with some members!

Monday(today): did laundry and found some groceries. Played some awesome spikeball. 

As always if you read this email I love you guys and if you don't, I still love you but only be cause Jesus told us to love our enemies!

Spiritual thought: for thus week I'd like to take a look at probably the greatest chapter in the Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 4. This is verse 32 

May the gates of hell be shut continually before me, because that my heart is broken and my spirit is contrite! O Lord, wilt thou not shut the gates of thy righteousness before me, that I may walk in the path of the low valley, that I may be strict in the plain road!

I love this verse because it is so straight forward in Nephis desire. He saying please let me do good and don't let me do bad. Nephi also has just lost his father in the same chapter. He knows that the way to eternal life is to continue on the straight and narrow path to get back to his father.
