Alright alright yall calm down now. I know yall are excited but I can hear ya all the way from California! This week was crazy because I was double covering an area with a temporary companion for a couple days. And I also got a new companion.  Tuesday- stopped by some friends. Sadly caught one of our friends vaping  .  Then did some work in another area and put someone on date to be baptized on Dec 29th. Then finished the day off with some choir practice.  Wednesday- double covered again! Found some people who were interested. Then went to go to the church meet our new comps. Then actually changed our minds and went to in n out. Met my new comp, Elder Boyd, he was hungry so we stopped to get some McDonald's for him.  Thursday- visited our records. Ate an amazing dinner.  Friday- multi zone conference! Drove 2 hours to Santa Barbara. Sang a musical number in Spanish because our district is like that. Then I drove us all back to Paso Robles. There goes another week in beautiful California! Thank you all for tuning in on this week's broadcast of Elder Shumways life! I'll try not to strain your eyes too much! Tuesday- went through a lot of old records Wednesday- exchanges! Did some service putting up no parking signs. Went door knocking, found a lot of Spanish speakers.  Thursday- more exchanges! I was a English Elder doing Spanish work so I didn't understand a lot! Friday- ward Christmas party. We met a few people that members had invited and started talking to them.  Saturday- this was my favorite day of the week! There was a festival thing where they closed of an entire street and the whole town came out to walk the street to see a bunch of booths and businesses handing out free stuff. So of course we had to take advantage of that. We talked to a whole lot of people as they were walking by. We handed out a Bible and a couple book of Mormons and a WHOLE LOT of Jesus pictures! It was super cold for my Arizona bl...

Do I hear applause??? Thank you thank you for the warm welcome and as always thank you for reading this email. I'll try not to strain your eyes to much with this email.  Tuesday: lots of phone calls. Taught a couple lessons Wednesday: did some service for the wonderful city of Paso Robles. Also went to 2 urgent cares (I'm okay, it was for my comp, and he's okay too)  Thursday: had a mission Zoom and a lesson with our friend Ruben. Got some Cold Stone after some companionship council (sorry to flex on all my friends outside the US ) Friday: Interviews with our mission president. Ended up going to 2 more urgent cares. Also apparently medical care is crazy here in Cali because they are always PACKED. We met this interesting homeless guy named Jesse. He was kinda interesting and definitely didn't agree with a lot we were saying but we said a prayer with him and he thanked us for it. Went door knocking and found this nice guy named Brad. He sounded a lot like Bradley Wilcox....
