Yoooo!!! hey everyone!! We had a super cool week this week!  I don't remember a lot that happened this week so Ill just tell the most important parts. -I got to do my first interview with our friend Grant. He's 11 years old and mom is a member and dad isn't and the dad wasn't really about it but Grant stood his ground and he was baptized this Saturday. -Right after we had a lesson with our friend Venesa and she accepted a date for Sept 14!! -We had interviews this week and President talked a lot about the Book of Mormon. I feel like this week was really slow but also really fast in a way. When we went to ward council they were pretty surprised on our update about missionary work. This ward hasn't had a lot of success in the past few transfers so they were super happy that we were finding results in our work. Cool stuff happened this week! Heres the short run down. -taught our friend who's one date for baptism Word of Wisdom and Law of Chastity. No problems whatsoever  -had exchanges and I was in a different area but ran into a member from my ward and he bought us some dominoes pizza (shoutout Brother Ray) -got early to go CLEAN THE LA TEMPLE! That was pretty fun. One of the workers there was Carlos and he was funny. He spoke mostly Spanish so I got to try my simple Spanish but he was pretty good at English too. He was really trying to learn and charades is a fun game.  -Put our friend Adam on date for baptism for September 7th! Turns out he also lives in the Zone Leaders area so we passed him off to them. Felt the spirit a lot.  -One of the members let us borrow some Golf clubs to go golfing.  -One of our friends tried to convince us that everything was pure back then in Jesus' time. (We were talking about purity and how the water at sacrament is pure) -Had a lesson with...

Good morning to the people who read my email! Some cool things happened this week... - Me and Elder Knight did a tie trade for a tie he's been asking me for a couple weeks now. I think he's worn it everyday this week.  - Elder Knight also got me listening to a lot of Bruce R McConkie. My favorite so far is What Think Ye of the Book of Mormon? The story is very relatable.  -Got to teach a 9 year old who has a baptismal date. So fun to teach simply.  - We invited our friend Summer be baptized and now she has a date for September 6th.  -Talked to some teenagers at the park about Clash Royale and Brawl Stars (games on their phone). Then talked to them about church. One of them kept talking about how corrupted their Pastor is and how he takes all the money for himself and has like 6 cars and a big house. We told him our church is not like that and invited him like 7 times. We'll get him one day.  -helped this guy push his broken down car out of the street and this ot...

Hi Hello everyone! This week was again very interesting and a great success. We had a really cool miracles where we asked this guy if he had heard of the Book of Mormon and he said yes and that he had one, he then asked where he should start reading. I don't know if I've ever been asked that question straight up so that was a cool moment. Some other things that happened this week was we were talking to a hispanic couple who were telling us, in their little english and us trying to explain in our bad spanish, that they didn't like the idea of baptisms for the dead. We don't know if they entirely understood what we were saying but they did give us bottles of water afterwards.  We also went back to these 5 doors that we had gone to before and had found 3 people that we could come back and teach. Well we ended up catching the other people at home and ended up finding 6 people to teach from the 5 doors. What a miracle, we could've gone somewhere for an hour and talked to...

apologies for not writing an email last week. but anyways... we had transfers this thursday and yes... I'm training! and he's literally a good luck charm literally the most crazy miracles have been happening! I'll put a few in this email. But first I'll give a little update about what happened last week... -We helped some new move members move into their apartment. -Learned that our friend who was on date has a Word of Wisdom problem. -Thats pretty much it... THIS WEEK -Had a lesson with some ELECT friends -had dinner with those new members we moved and turns out they are the best at missionary work! -An inactive member took us out to his restaurant and hes trying to get back to church -Then our ward mission leader took us out for dinner at a place called sharky's -Transfers -Im training -took him tracting and we knocked 5 doors and found 3 people (good luck charm) -Started explaining priesthood authority and used the authority of police officers and how you can...

Hey yall! This one will be shorter. Stuff happened this week.  -talked to someone who thought coffee wasn't against the Word of Wisdom (p).  - went to a funeral for about 10 minutes.  -member magically appeared while we were teaching a lesson.  -had exchanges with Elder Murray.  -friend wanted a blessing and ended up cancelling after it took a lot logistics -my comp took apart our broken ceiling fan and fixed it.  -Our friend accepted a baptismal date for Aug 3rd. Everyone please pray for Larry! -had a p day activity with the 3 nearest zones. We won in kickball.  God is so awesome. I am so thankful for the church. I am thankful for my friends and family. For understanding the doctrine of the church. Love all of you!
