week #2 MTC

Im gonna be really honest when i say i didnt have high expectations for home MTC but im actually having a lot of fun. My companion is cool and so is my district. Can't wait to meet them on Wednesday.

I Apologize to anyone who didnt get my last email. i hadn't set up an email list in time for P day.

I'm convinced that because of the missionary calling I'm finding real joy in the scriptures. If you don't read your scriptures every day i invite you to do so cause it can really bless your life. If you haven't been reading scriptures this week YOU CAN START TODAY! i heard a quote this week that says "God never intended for your to be the same person you were yesterday". change can come on a daily basis if we let it. If you need some direction in the scripture i actually have a verse i would like to share. It's Matthew 25:21, "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things:enter thou into the joy of thy lord". The lord doesn't say, thou hast been perfect, or good, or great, or something like that'. He says thou has been "faithful".

This week for home MTC we've practiced inviting. It's interesting that in My Purpose it doesn't say to teach. In the MTC i've realized that it is not our purpose to teach but to invite.

I don't really know what to put in my emails cause im just at home most of the day. I promise these emails will get more interesting. thank you for reading my emails and if you want to email be back please do it personally because if you press 'reply' itll send it to everyone else. thank you.
