"Are those the mail guys?" -some random kid

No we aren't the mail guys. We are missionaries. I wonder all the different things people mistake missionaries for. Most of the people we meet at least know who we are and what we talk about but there are some who have never heard of the Church before.

Alright let's get into the week...

Tuesday- WE PUT DIEGO ON DATE! For those of you who don't know who Diego is he's a teenager that we've been teaching and he's been unsure whenever we've brought up baptism. But we stressed about how it is a blessing and something that we need to do to enter the kingdom of heaven (John 3:5) and how even Christ was baptised by proper authority to set the example for us.

Wednesday- woke up early to do some service. We helped unload books for the book fair at the library.

Thursday- our ward put together what they called a missionary Blitz. Which is basically where a bunch of members split into companionships and visit less active families. Each person that was visited was given a personal letter from the Bishop, contact information to the missionaries and bishopric, and invitation to the ward Halloween Festival.

Friday- visited our friend David. He's chill. He's 82.

Saturday- went to the towns de Los Muertos festival and the city park. It was pretty cool. We tried talking to some people but no mucho EspaƱol so......
That night we had the wards Halloween Festival and it might have been the most fun time I've ever had on the mission. It was so fun to run Carnival games and hand out candy to little kids for 3 hours.

Sunday- went to church and also had a member who fed us tri-tip for dinner and I had lollaberry pie for the first time it was really good!

As always I feel like I yap too much in my emails. Feel free to email me. It's awesome to hear from yall.

The tempature is finally dropping so I might actually get to wear my sweaters all day.
