2nd General Conference

Hey everyone! Pretty good week! My comp has trouble getting ready in time so we are late to some things but its alright because it helps me practice my patience.

So some crazy stuff happened this week! We received a couple REALLY awesome referrals! and also one of our friends found one of his roommates dead and we went and visited him that day and he was pretty shaken up by it!

We also went to watch conference at our friend Steve's house and while we're watching he gets up to go get his pipe so he can smoke. We said something about and he came back to watch conference and then about half way through conference he pretty much asked us to leave which was pretty sad but we still love Steve.

We also watched Conference with our friend Mike and he ended up falling asleep.

Another thing that happened was we met some people from the Philippines! (SHOUT OUT my friends serving in the Philippines) and they taught us some words that i have now since forgot but they were super cool.

We also got the Mcdonald's meal this week and that was cool.

Also some very sad news... our friends that we had on date may not be able to be baptized... were still waiting on word from our mission president so if y'all could pray for Jass and Pawan's baptism that would be awesome!

Heres my SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
So something really cool happened at conference. In my Notes Journal i had written down a quote that my president had said at zone conference at the end. It was "Joseph Smith saw what he say he saw". i didn't know why i wrote this down. President says stuff like that all the time. But it was the last thing i wrote in my journal.
During the first session of conference in President Hollands testimony he said "Joseph Smith saw what he said he saw". This was a small miracle that I saw because of how close the quotes are to each other on the pages they are on.
I think its super to have a testimony of the restored Gospel. I know how important this work is and I see first hand of how much hard work it is. Missionary work is a lot of putting work in and praying for miracles.
