Luck of the Irish

So I'm talking with my mom right now and just found I got some Irish so that's pretty cool! Some pretty interesting things happened this week. Probably the most interesting was being bashed by a muslim. He was nice but had an issue with Jesus being the "Son" of God and wanted a scripture that says He is and all we did was look up "sonship" and testified to him, he paused and then asked if we wanted to play basketball and that hyped my companion so i dont know....

We got to see our old friend Steve who is probably my favorite person to visit right now even if his house has a weird strong smell and his cat might be dead and he's open about breaking the word of wisdom. At the beginning of the transfer we would just talk on his doorstep but the last few times he's let us in and he always has a cowboy movie on the TV. One day we brought him some cookies we made and he let us know he didn't have any teeth, he was thankful for the gesture though. He told us later that his mouth hurt from the cookies. This week found out how to teach him and it's through stories of the Book of Mormon.

This week was pretty hard to stay motivated. Me and my comp had no energy for a couple days so we possibly could've been sick from somewhere.

Transfers are this week and I expect to stay in this area. I'm in a little place called Simi Valley for those who don't know.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
I heard a quote once that goes like "what a shameful thing to put the atonement of Christ on a shelf and let it collect dust". I came across it in my notes and it reminds me of how important it is to repent and how the Atonement is there to be used.
