Hey everyone! This week was a great week. This week me and my companion listened President Nelsons talk about always finding joy. We had a lot of fun this and took a few side quests.
We got to take a youth tracting with us. We ended up finding an inactive member and he gave us Root Beer, he sadly wasn't interest though but don't worry we'll go back for him.
On Wednesday we had exchanges and I was with Elder Fox and my brother LOVES to sing so it was a party the entire day. We also had a fire lesson. When my brother Braden got back from his mission he showed us and object lesson where you use a friction pen to write down sins on a stick figure and use a lighter to burn away the ink and it symbolizes confirmation and the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
This Saturday we got to see Gaga. She's an elderly member and is super lonely. every week we get to go over and read a chapter of the Book of Mormon with her. It's amazing to see how she can be so happy and faithful even though she has many things that make her life difficult both in the past and the present.
On Sunday we also were able to offer the sacrament to an elderly member in a nursing home. He had a stroke and has a hard time breathing and talking. Even though I can't always understand him, he still is super cool and always grateful for us coming over.
This morning for our District Activity we went on a hike and it was very... humbling... can't wait to play Volleyball with the boys when i get home. It was also a very beautiful hike, all the hills are yellow around us right now.
I'm very blessed to be where I am right now and learning what I'm learning now.
Church is true
