rain is good
So it rained a lot this week and it was pretty awesome. We actually found a lot of people in the rain, probably because they took pity on us. Also happy Birthday to my Sister!
So on Monday night we had District Council and there a small portion where we call some of our friends that we teach and we put our friend Sean on date! he didn't come to church this week but they important thing is it's on his mind!
Talked to a really cool YSA aged person and they told us they've been dating a member for like 5 years and we asked if they want to join the church and they were like "yeah sure" so we got their info and sent over to the YSA sisters.
We did service for this lady who had probably the fluffiest dog I have ever seen. The dog was named Luna.
We had our friend Joyce call us 30 minutes before church started and she asked for a ride... she ended up coming and sat by an awesome member and loved church so that was cool. Joyce is an old lady who has problems with her memory but is THE NICEST old lady in San Luis Obisbo.
We had 2 of our friends come to a baptism. The one I was sitting by said "wow, he's glowing" after the guy came back after the baptism. So that was pretty cool. Then after he was confirmed and the bishop started to speak our friend started crying. After we invited her to be baptized and she couldn't really answer but said she would pray about it.
Got kicked out of a place we were finding in but as we were leaving we contacted this girl and her sister and the her mom pulled up and made sure we had exchanged phone numbers. Turns out they had just been talking about how they were needing to go to church! We texted their number and they responded like immediately. super cool.
We played chair soccer today and had food with some senior missionaries and one of them were talking about Real Estate and how much they love it.
I am almost about to finish the Book of Mormon again. It's really cool to see the journey and and the story that is taking place in it's pages. It's been such a blessing to be able to read it everyday.
This week we have interviews and also have a temple trip and we are looking forward to it a lot.
Dinner with the McFarlands. They had coloring pages for us!
